Schutz Arieli: To buy or not to buy?

This is the Schutz Arieli.

I saw this shoe last night for the first time and I fell in love with it. But then I saw the price. The first price I saw for this was $220. It broke my heart. Then I found it on Zappos for $185 and I started to really consider because, why not? So I emailed my husband and asked him if I could/should buy them because of their steep price (Well, for me at least). And he said I could! By then, I had slept on it and realized I shouldn't because they are pricey, I don't wear heels all that often, and I have very thin feet so shoes like this might not fit me correctly. BUT then I went back to Zappos and these had gone down to $160.99. I'm very torn on whether to purchase them or not. I know I don't need these shoes right, but they are just too beautiful. What do you guys think, should I get them?

Zara Culotte Skort Dupe!

So I'm sure we've all seen these Zara Culotte Skorts. They have been all over the blogosphere in the past couple of months. The first time I saw them was in a YouTube video and I fell in love. By that time, they were all sold out and I couldn't find them anywhere but eBay where they were priced at anywhere from $70-$125 plus an outrageous amount for shipping. And while I loved these shorts, I was not willing to spend that much. A few nights ago, I saw another YouTube video where a girl said she found the dupes on eBay for only 7 British pounds. So I hopped on eBay and found them for only $8.82 and I was so excited I bought both the white and black pairs. It was too good of a deal to pass up. I know these shorts won't be the best quality because they are from China but for a seasonal piece, I think they will do. And I mean, for $8.82 I can't complain. They should be here by the 24th of July so I will definitely do a full review on them then.

Outfit of the Day: 4th of July!

This was my Fourth of July outfit! I had the red lip, very neutral eyeshadow, my signature cat eye, and mascara. My outfit consisted of this white lace/crochet dress from Hollister ($15 on clearance) and a pair of brown/wooden wedges from Payless, but they were from the spring collection and are no longer available. I had a small blue sequin heart shaped crossbody purse from Betsey Johnson that isn't pictured.
I wanted to wear something that wasn't too over the top and I didn't want to look overdressed which is why I wore this very simple outfit. And yet, I was still the most overdressed person at the party I attended.
But you know what they say, "It's better to be overdressed, than underdressed"!

Review: ASOS Hostage Heeled Sandals.

Okay, so when I first saw these shoes on the ASOS website I fell in love with them. I could not get them off my mind. I wanted them so badly but I just couldn't justify spending 72 dollars on a pair of heels that I couldn't try on. A few weeks later, I saw that ASOS was having a huge sale so I went online and checked if these beauties were on sale and they were! They were down to 36 dollars and I ordered them after talking to my husband about it. So this is where the review starts..

The shipping was amazing and fast. I ordered them on Monday and received them Saturday morning. The packaging was basic, nothing special. The shoe itself is pretty true to picture. No complaints there.

Unfortunately, I have VERY thin feet. (I'm a size 5 in US and a 3 in UK sizes.) And the straps on the shoes are a little too wide for my feet. I can make it work though. They are also about half a size too big but like I said, I can make it work. One more thing I don't particularly like is that when I walk in them, my foot moves and the shoe makes a suction noise. I don't exactly know how to explain it, but I will have to use those gel sole inserts for heels to get rid of that aspect. The shoe is gorgeous and very well made. If you love this shoe and have an average width foot, then I strongly suggest you buy this shoe while its still on sale.

Outfit of the Day: Casual but cute!

I wore this outfit this afternoon to a local carnival with my in-laws.
I wanted to wear something very casual and cute and with closed toe shoes because it had rained earlier in the day. And since I knew we were going to be walking on grass and near puddles, I did not want to risk wet toes/feet.

Top: Abercrombie & Fitch, but purchased at Marshall's: 9.99
Jeans: Abercrombie, but purchased at a thrift store: 5.00
Shoes: Sperry's: 59.50

This Month's Bargains!

Okay, so I'm a HUGE bargain shopper. I hate paying full price for anything. The sale rack is my best friend. And this month was actually really great with sales and whatnot. So here are my bargain finds:

This isn't actually everything I got good bargains on. I also visited the VS Semi annual sale and picked up some undies, a phone case and a body spray. And from Aerie I picked up a super cute bra! But anyways, now to let you guys know the cost of these things. You will not believe the deals I got.

Let's start off with the two bracelets. I picked them up at yard sale for 50 cents each. I'm not sure of their brands but they are so stinkin' cute.
These super cute BETSEY JOHNSON sunglasses were only 12.99 at Marshall's. I saw them and picked them up immediately. I had to have them.

Staying with the Marshall's purchases, I picked up these Kenneth Cole sandals for 24.99. They are like walking on heaven. They are cushion-y and so comfortable. I have gotten so many compliments on them.
Another wonderful Marshall's purchase is this lovely Abercrombie & Fitch top. It was only 9.99. I mean, c'mon! Tell me that's not a bargain! It's such a perfect summer top. :)
Okay, so you guys are probably going think I'm lying when I tell you how much I paid for this Betsey Johnson makeup bag. TWO DOLLARS, guys. Two freakin' dollars at a yard sale. I couldn't believe it and I definitely couldn't pass it up. I love it!
Although these shoes aren't pictured because they haven't arrived in the mail, I had to post about them because they are just too amazing not to mention. They are the ASOS Hostage Heeled Sandal. I saw them a few weeks back and fell in love but I just couldn't justify spending 71.27 on heels. But then I saw that ASOS was having their sale and I went to see if these were on sale and they were! There were only 35.64 with no tax and free shipping. I was ecstatic. I can't wait for them to get here! Look how beautiful they are!
These shorts were also a great sale that I couldn't pass up. I'm a fanatic of Hollister shorts and jeans. They have very cute high waisted shorts but at normal price, they are expensive. I went to the mall the other day and they were having 50% off their shorts so I got these for 22.25 which is amazing for a great quality pair of shorts. And they're so chic too!

And last but not least, this was by far my favorite purchase and the best deal of all. I saw this dress back in March and I fell in love with but it was 60 dollars. I almost paid for it too but they didn't have it in my size at the Hollister I was at. I found it in the sale rack a few days ago and I saw that it was 30 and I was like hey, why not. Well when the cashier scanned it, it came out to 15 dollars. Best deal ever, or what? From 60 down to 15. I just couldn't believe it. I can't wait to wear it. I'm just so excited!
Pictures definitely don't this dress justice. I will do an outfit of the day with it soon so you can see it in all its majestic glory.

So all in all, June was such a great month and I couldn't be happier with my purchases.I saved so much money while also spending it. Haha. If you have any questions about these things, let me know. :)

Outfit of the Day: Santa Monica

This outfit/picture is pretty old. It was worn February 16, 2013. But its hands down one of my favorites.
I wore this to the Santa Monica Pier and 3rd Street Promenade. It was the perfect outfit, until the strap on my vintage chunky flatform broke. :(
